Has your old garage door stopped working? Or maybe you’ve repainted your house, and now your garage doesn’t quite match everything else. Or maybe you’re just ready for a change of pace. After all, for most homes in America, your garage is the biggest, most noticeable part of your home from the street. It’s completely understandable that you might want to update it from time to time.
If you have never gone through the garage door installation process before, you may be wondering how these things usually go. Most commonly, these are the steps that we take during our process:
- Before anything, we will want to know that you already have a replacement door. This will ensure that our garage door installation goes smoothly, without having to leave you without a garage door while we wait for the replacement to be chosen and arrive.
- We will examine your garage door to make sure there aren’t any abnormalities or unique circumstances, and then we will carefully remove your old garage door.
- Next, we will put your new garage door in. This might involve drilling new holes for installation, as well as securing hinges and installing the tracks of your new door. This will be a little complicated for us, but very easy for you!
- We will install a garage door opener for you as well. We carry a variety of openers from the industry’s leading manufacturers, so we highly recommend them.
- Finally, we check to make sure everything is working, clean up, and leave you with your new garage door.
The garage door installation process should take no longer than a day, after which you will have a shiny new door to brighten up your home.
