My wife and I had been waiting for a while now to upgrade our garage door (it originally had two-toned panels from previous repairs, so it was a bit unsightly), as well as the garage motor (original with the house 20+ years, loud and clunky). We did some research and thought we would go with one we found on a retailer page. After looking through google recommendations and near us candidates, we decided to go with Race City Garage Door – and we are so glad that we did. Kim was kind enough to take us onto the schedule so that Joe could come take a look and give me an idea of pricing, as well as other products to price match to the ones we originally wanted installed, with completely no pressure tactics of any kind – they really want to help. After sitting down with my wife and figuring out the pricing, we decided to go with the products offered by Race City, as they were high quality that we were looking for and a lot cheaper! It was a no-brainer for us to go with what they offered and originally quoted us. Race City Garage Door was informative with the delivery and the estimated times the order would be completed (it was a custom door, so it took over 3 weeks to manufacture and deliver). A couple of days before originally planned, Kim was able to reach out and let us know that our products would arrive soon and we could be scheduled a day earlier if wanted. We were more than happy to oblige. On install day, Joe was awesome. He gave me an estimate on time and got to work. He completely replaced everything – from the garage motor to the door, rails, sensors, and all openers and pads in under 2 hours and 30 minutes. He was also open to coming back and fixing anything within the warranty period at no charge. I was impressed with his professionalism and friendliness throughout the process.
